Description

The 2012 International Conference on Economics and Administration (ICEA 2012), organized by the Faculty of Business and Administration within the University of Bucharest, aims at bringing together researchers, scientists, scholars and students in all areas of Economics and Administration, and providing an international forum for the dissemination of original research results, new ideas and practical development experiences which concentrate on both theory and practices.

Main speakers will be:

  • Stephane Callens, University Artois, France

Eligibility

The Call for Papers is open to all researchers, scientists, scholars and students in all areas of Economics and Administration.

Costs

I. Early registration: Before February 1st, 2012

  • 75 euro
  • per paper (no more than 3 authors)
  • For any additional paper: 50 euro per paper (no more than 3 authors)
  • The participants to the previous ICEAs will pay the regular fee for the first paper and will register every second paper FREE OF CHARGE.

II. Later registration: After February 1st 2012 but no later than May 1st 2012

  • 100 euro per paper
  • (no more than 3 authors)
  • For any additional paper: 75 euro per paper (no more than 3 authors)
  • The participants to the previous ICEAs will pay the regular fee for the first paper and will register every second paper FREE OF CHARGE.

There is no fee for undergraduate students.

III. Not attending authors:
For the not attending authors, there is a charge of 50 euro for the first paper, and 25 for each consecutive paper. This fee includes sending of the electronic conference proceedings by mail and, in case the papers will be included in one of the journals mentioned in the Publication Opportunities section, the specific issue.

Application

In order to apply for the Conference you have t register online here.

Attending and not attending participants are invited to submit:

  • Research papers: complete papers (min 4500 – max 6500 words) with complete references section.
  • Short papers: this could be research in progress, abstracts, ideas to be explored explore with audience at the conference, or draft of papers for possible co-authorship: (max. 1000 words)

Each paper will be subjected of a double blind peer review. The evaluators will seek for originality, significance, clarity, and contribution.
Summary of review feedback/reports may be sent back to the author(s), if the case. All comments and suggestions should be addressed in the final submission. Papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere.
The authors will follow the guideline for submissions which is specific to the publication opportunity they choose. By accessing the web page of each journal, they can find details about how to edit their works.

Important Deadlines

  • Full Paper Submission (electronic registration): May 1st 2012
  • Fee Payment: May 5th 2012
